A reflection of mood through the weather.
It’s crying outside
The light is lonely, reminds me of me
The trees won’t stop changing their minds
and the leaves are dead tired

The wind is whingeing again
It’s relentless pity
pampers the gust who follows
uttering thoughts of freedom, of it’s own

The clouds brood, a sombering bunch
A courage once gathered
now gone with wind;
lazy nomads...cowards

Meanwhile, the dusk falls victim
to this morning’s prey
The moon awakens
steadying it’s gaze

And night takes sentry,
duty to the stars
whom keep company -
the dark
