One of my favourites :)
We tumbled down
beneath the trees
and cried as all the pretty leaves
fell one by one,
onto the ground
and died.

I did not feel him
grasp my hand
or whisper of our golden lands
that now bled grey -

He left one day.
Lain in his place,
I found his note
spelt out in shrivelled leaves, he wrote:
I LOVED YOU MORE.
