One of the very first poems I ever wrote. Short, because I struggled pretty badly.
Why must you think before you act?
If you follow no rules, then truth be told.
Your lies will not remain in tact,
And I will judge if free or sold.

When your heart tangles, string entwined,
Do not touch and leave it be.
I will grasp unobtainable time,
Reside yourself and wait for me.

Watch it tick away, the minute to the hour,
The sun will set and night will fall.
Anxiety and fear will soon devour,
So close your eyes and perceive my call.

You acquired reign and then you fell,
Now I have fixed these broken things.
Whether you have learned, only time will tell,
For I am the one who has your wings.
