Loss of a loved one Please be honest
Joe

It has been two years since we parted ways. Gloomy clouds hung in the sky, for even the angels wept that day. I told you I loved you and touched your face. You did nothing. You would not hear my case. I begged and begged for you not to leave. You still did nothing. What am I to believe?

I fell to my knees and started to pray. "God please, God please," but it was too late. I watched them put you in the ground on that date. At the age of twenty-two how could death be your fate?

I am angry with you for leaving me here. As I say that, I am relieved of my tears.

Now you come to me in hazy dreams. You lean close and whisper in my ear, "I would do nothing to hurt you. I’m still here, my dear." I realize that the morning when I wake is all I have to fear.
