What does it all mean?

                                SHRUG

                                            What does it all mean?

Philosophy is dead. Our faith has fled.

We are told the illusion of meaning must now be shed;

For science has shown that the universe never ends

But slowly cools--as will our countless friends--

And the mind of God is just one more equation.

Now time is all that's left to kill,

And only eccentrics sense that still,

In the cool of the evening, some one walks in the garden.
