This is my 2nd try at implied emotion.
I saw my friend walk out of my bedroom. He smiled as if he was hiding something. I peeked around his head into my bedroom. I looked back at him, puzzled. He kept a nerves smile, “what are you looking for?” I pushed him out of my way and entered my bedroom, “why are you smiling so much?” He did not reply. I turned back to him, but he was gone. Suddenly, I thought of my new flashlight I bought. I paid thirteen dollars for it. It was a Sky-pup Jr. Flashlight from the movie “Dog-fighters of mars” I saw last week. That was almost a whole week’s allowance! I had to rake and bag leaves for two hours a day after school to earn that money. My body sank as I started searching for it. My breathing became heavy and short. Frantically, I ripped apart every place that I could have possibly left it. I think he stole it! Maybe, I could see him outside my window. Maybe he wasn’t too far away to catch up with! I rushed to my window and flung my curtain away to see outside. By the time I found him, he would have hidden it. I felt my jaw being forced downward.  My eyes became moist as I felt my whole face sag into a frown. I looked down as my head become heavy. Looking to my bed, I saw a place to completely let myself go. Tears fell as I plunged myself onto my bed grabbing my pillow to bury my face into and cried. I would never see my flashlight again.
