just a simple fun poem
Beware the Ides of March?
I think not.
Spring has sprung
I am still young
My life is good
My love as well
I am not Caesar
I am not in Rome
but rather Minnesota,
is my home
fifty-eight degrees, the snow is melting
the sun is shining
there is no thing for which I'm pining.
I am not wealthy
I am not needy
I have good friends
I have my health
my pencil and paper
and good books on my shelves.
