We focus on what we believe,

We say, " To err is human"

But sometimes we practice to deceive.

Our desires play tribute in our actions,

Leading to endless consequences,

As time counts only in our subtractions.

So take head of what is wishful bliss,

The shrugs and sighs do turn perchance,

Toward better days gone amiss.
