Impulse control - for writer's cramp

Impulse control is a rubber band
Attached to the peripherals
The other end to the brain
It’s fixed and steady

Neither blabber nor cry it stretches
Don’t hit, or kick the band twitches
And shudder? No it reins the entire you
Do just what the leader lets you

And you are perceived wiser
Folks look up to you
While you mourn the loss of
The real you, it is no more
