A song I wrote. I picture a male vocal and accoustic rock for music.
"(Wake Up) Yesterday"

Breathe upon this little face
And take away the winter dullness
It's close to spring time days
And I will wait for you to bloom in fullness

Catch the little stars that fall
in the palms of your hands
Open up your balled up fists
And open up your mind so you can understand

Chorus:
When will you wake up?
You didn't wake up yesterday,
when I roused you
When you awake,
I hope you will live like there is no today,
and find you

Smash the looking glass
it's not worth reflecting back
But I'm sure, as time will pass
You will wonder what is fake or a fact

After all you were to one to say,
all those righteous things
And left me in dismay
with no song left in my lungs to sing
So

Chorus

Wake up,
yesterday you didn't wake up...
Wake up!
