         to my cousin Spooky

         Dear Spooky,
Thank you for letting me stay with you this past summer.I had a good time meeting new relatives and your friends. I learned a lot from you, and had a lot of fun. Most of all , thank you for giving me a name I can live with. What were they thinking giving me an old ladies name when I was born?

Sincerely your second cousin
Eddie Lou [Edna Louise] yuk!

         Hey Eddie,
No big deal. First I thought you were going to be a real dud. I mean you didn't know much about baseball especially Cardinal Baseball. You proved yourself worthy though when you slapped Betsy. We will all remember that for a long time. You are welcome to come back anytime. We will let you play shortstop since you got pretty good at that.

Write me anytime
Spook
