A poem about a day dream with fairies who give a strange gift.
Day Dream

The grass was green,
lush green,
and they danced and played in my dream,
day dream.

They wore skirts,
petal skirts,
and were so pretty it hurt,
to gaze upon them.

They cried out,
yelled loudly,
so loud it seemed to big for their bodies,
small bodies

"Hail, mighty human,
great human,
stop do not move stay still,
for we have a gift to bestow."

The fairies,
dainty fairies,
flew around,
on their butterfly wings.

They made a bubble,
that laid in the grass,
it seemed too fragile
for this world.

It was colored with rainbow,
pretty rainbows
that shimmered along
the great globe.

I smiled at the fairies
for they had shown
me a new world,
strange world.

The grass was green,
lush green,
as I awoke from my dream daydream.
