My first ever poem so at this stage feedback is very worthwhile to help me improve.
Dawn is upon me.
Breaking through the darkness in its ever radiant beauty.
The water, reflecting heavens gift is all I see.
Tranquil...Peaceful and unending.

As with life the clouds invade and charge away.
The water graying into a dark, rageful creature attacking my lines.
And with it lands a husk not moving, dead where it lay.
Fear and uncertainty now washes away my warm nature.

Laying pitched in an eternal scream,
Broken husk, white and cold as winters chill.
What happened I can only dream.
Eternal damnation awaits this figure.

Dawns passing is complete.
And with it my innocence for what I have seen.
I retreat, My skin white as a sheet
And attempt to purge my mind of these forsaken images.
