55 Word Story - Won 1st place in the Round 144 (2 May 2010)

Its buzz pierced my eardrum, and I tried to swat it. My hand curved around my head near the ear. I darted a glance around me but could not find it.

It flew into view, near my face. I jerked my head and then clapped my hands to smash the mosquito. And I did it.
