My first song. I hope you like dark and violent.
I tried to be happy
So I destroyed all I loved
I tried to be a hero
But wasn’t good enough

I tried to be her friend
One that she could trust
But she blew in the wind
After I burned her to dust
It took me to a place deep within my dreams
A place so absurd I wish I never seen
A place so revolting a place so obscene
A place that never changes and is always evergreen

I tried to be happy
So I destroyed all I loved
I tried to be a hero
But wasn’t good enough
I tried to be deferent
I avoided what I was
I tried to be a hero
But wasn’t good enough

I think I have abandon
And lack of a moral heart
That’s probably why I killed them
And tore them all apart
A light began to shine in a place dead and cold
A place I had forgotten but wanted so to hold
A so deferent, a place worth more than gold
A place that’s always in me deep within my soul

There’s something in the feeling
What I did was wrong
Though something in the killing
Makes me feel like I belong
It brought me to a place where morals were obscured
A place where they found a taste for things that were immured
Twisted by this vision my heart was too inured
To help me find the strength to finally find a cure

you can watch this at Youtube, band name My Good Misfortune, video first gig 2nd song on video. I'm the guitarist and one of the song writers of the band, thanks.
