Rejection is a tender trap
Frozen prey in your hands
The numb slab of quivering skin
Thrown on your table
I am inedible-
Tainted goods and putrid flesh
Unworthy of your consumption
I am the rotting carcass-
Lifeless corpse
That holds no hope of resurrection
