A love gone bad
Craving me –
Chomping your lips as you lick them twice over,
look at you moistening your mind with inconceivable thoughts.
Lusting for my heart
With dedication abstaining for my love
Staggering –
You exist for a gulp of acceptance,
coating a throat to wallow in existence.
But your eyes are glazed over
and my heart has eroded.
A canyon lies deep where your love used to be
now the depths of betrayal scrape along a beating floor.
As your insides grow toxic, emotions mask over.
With two halves of a whole
Inconsistently Incomplete –
They’re dripping and severed,
Forced to roam with a hollow soul;
searching for their burial.
Longing for another chance
hoping to one day bring their hearts amends.
