A dismal outlook of prisoners
Steeples, metal-dull and tower
Stand sky-ward like lashes
Long o'er guarding
Eyes of Walls -
Some prayers are answered,
Some not at all -
They of the prayers are showered
And fed and kept well
( As well as well-regarded )
And promptly punished for their sins -
So the binded marching never ends
Nor locks upon the cells -
And the tears the Walls never see
Are the prayers they never tell -
