A poem written for the veterans of our nation. Used in a Veterans Day ceremony, (MHS/MTEC)
A Poem to our Veterans.

As I look into the past, all the things you all have done, to keep our country safe you all pulled as one.
You looked danger in the eye as you blast through the hold, you protected us with your life, and your hearts made of gold.
You showed us all a reason to protect our nation as a whole, when we remember 9/11 our hearts all sink so low.
But then we remember what you’ve done for us, with your hearts of purest gold, and we realize there is hope for us in a world of war and woe.
I thank you again for protecting us, our nation as a whole, and hopefully as we grow we inherit that purest gold, to further protect our love ones as you have done so bold.
