Dealing with Dyslexia. A very very short draft.
Dyslexia.

I loathe the written word. A E I O U I hate you. As sit pushing the warm plastic buttons the on my laptop. I consider how the digitised text is converted from a visualisation on the back lit screen. The binary code is something I can comprehend one zero one. The complex values assigned to the long stings of ones and zeros make more sense to me than A E I O U. As I sit taping the plastic buttons my frustration mounting the tapping growing into stabbing. A page an hour turns into half, half turns into a paragraph, a paragraph turns into a sentence until what I’m typing makes no sense at all. The large amount of text begins to merge in to one like a LSD hallucination in my back lit screen. People say why bother? I use to think the same until I needed to voice my opinion. I discovered I could articulate my emotions in to a digitised text. There is one author I would like to thank she read some of my short story’s and gave me a belief in myself. To the author, I would love to know if you have skipped since that day. I did that’s why I’ve started writing again.

Thanks for reading J. x
