A short poem about a girl prefering a man who is bad for her over a good man.
Man of Fire

How could you want him more than me?
-I often sit and wonder
Rough words and rougher heart
-His walk an omened thunder
To tears he brings you
-Till your heart succumbs to drought
You give all you've got
-To the man from no way out.

The black of city air
-And the roil of city pain
Like oil through the city pipes
-Molten steel runs through his veins
But the fires in his soul
-Make you go insane
How could you want him more than me?
-Your silence so profane.
