Immortal Wounds

I am hurt but only inside

My mortal wounds will slide me by

I am only hurt in my mind



My flesh wounds will heal

My thoughts will not

I am still alive

Yet I do not not fear death

Speeding towards my last of breaths

Wounded not mortally



My thoughts still scarred

I wish to die

Send me away

From this treacherous place

From despair I loathe from

Loneliness I grieve

I am wounded immortally.
