Challenge: 101 wds or less/ coffee, razzmatazz, double agent, Jersey, Raggedy Ann
Shoulder Chip

        "Punk ass Raggedy Anns.”
Blonde, brunette, redheaded with freckles in uniforms and saddle shoes.
“Nothin’ but double agents for the Devil.”
Saw clear through their perky razzmatazz. Coffee and a Jersey accent wouldn’t stand a chance in that southern cream schoolyard.
Unless the coffee stayed strong.
One snuck smile to me out one of those tight, whispering groups. I saw fake.
Or worse, curiosity.
“And I aint about to be nobody’s zoo exhibit.”
Blondie went red when I didn’t smile back. Just stared at her.
Me.
Starting over.
One cold kidney bean in a bowl of steamed rice.
