A poem describing the severe fear of loving again after being hurt, intensely
Her mind feels with questions
Her heart feels empty, yet heavy
She has people who love her all around
Still, of anothers love she feels unworthy

She yearns to hear the words 'I LOVE YOU'
While doubting her ability to say it in return
It's been sometime since she's felt true love
Yet the brand it left on her heart still burns

She hopes, someday, to be understood
While inside feeling she is unlovable
Her heart denies all inner feelings of love
Still, she knows her need for it is undeniable

These feelings and fears are ever present
Dwelling in her heart as well as her mind
Yet she holds onto the hope of finding a deep true love
But when that love shows up will she run and hide?
