Sometimes, it takes a bit of force for somebody trully open their minds to the obvious.
It's a normal day, a normal life
Nothing has changed one bit
Except that I had a meeting at five
And I was so late that I was having a fit

So, I took the elevator
Thinking it would go more quickly
Than the stair, that's what the elevators for
But then came the celebraty

At first, it was just a smile
Just a nod, a quick hello
Then I began to dig through my bag for a file
And he said, "Need any help, good fellow"

I said I didn't, but dropped everything
He helped me pick it up, helping me pick up the file
He asked me questions like if I could sing
And I responded, "Haven't in a while"

He was really friendly
Offering to help make my wallet full
Unfortunently, he was very sickly
That explains why he was in a hospital

I learned an important thing when I exited the elevator
That even though they're on different levels of income
Celebrities can be sometime fuller
On the aspects of coolness and fun

They can be famous from 20 years to four
And from their fans they must flee
But, I learned something in that elevator
That celebrities are just like you and me
