Love is basically an emotional bond, finer and stronger than sex and gifts.
LOVE: a sonnet

The emotion that’s love is but unique,
It just cannot be kindled or be killed.
It comes from heart and does not bear critique,
It has been as man’s strongest power billed.

In love one can truly give one’s own life,
In love one can take another life too.
For husband, sacrifices does make wife,
Husbands also love their wives, it is true.

But when love is another name for sex,
It loses its power that is divine.
When its value is paid in bills or cheques,
It turns from spirit to the cheapest wine.

The bonds of love are deep in the heart laid.
It’s not love if it’s sought to be repaid.
