Different Power

Two people living together
Each have their own powers for finances
Each able to achieve great things in life
But each have their own differences

One is sophisticated, formal
Listens to classical music and all
Useful and cold, formal and wise
Believing that with organization, nothing can fall

The other loves to party
Loves to hear the beats of country and rock
As the beat begins the fires within himself
He parties so well that others back away in shock

Each work well together
Planning, relaxing, having fun
Unfortunently, both work indoors
Hiding away from the Sun

But, as well as they work together
Their differences still stand out clear
As they succeed in life together
The weight of their differences causing them much fear

Many times, they tried to match and truce
They tried blending to become the same
With it, they could be successful beyond recognition
With it, they would accomplish true fame

But, as life went on
They both began to realize
That they wouldn't be able to match and truce
Instead, together, they could create something of size

They realized that the body needed the high and the low
The support and the work
Just like eating a steak
You need a knife and a fork

So, they combined and worked hard
They used their powers to hid each others weakness
They realized that they didn't have to be the same to accomplish in life
But just use each other's difference

This story isn't about two friends being successful
It's about where true teamwork lies
It's not about using the similarities but each other's differences
By using a partners differences, any person can fly
