Visions of Sodom and Gomorrahs children.
One can remember
The fiery embers,
The smell of ever after.

The fainted, soft cries
Of tainted souls rise;
Heard, but are never answered.

For God do they weep,
Their souls he did reap;
A tear sheds a grim laughter.

Ashes to ashes,
City life passes.
My eyes welcome their haunting.

I watch from afar,
The skies fill with fire.
The Face of heaven, turning.

The absence of God
Shows little to love,
As all of the children lay burning.
