the sleepless nights we all have to bear at times when care overweighs our minds.
I watched as the dying sun,
Crawled lightly on the stairs.
Its soft rays made me burn,
For i was overburdened with care.

Even the trees which happily sing,
Of wind passing by.
Even the joy of babbling spring,
Cannot this sorrow deny.

The distant cry of the wren,
The harbringer of peace.
Or the music of the glen,
Brought with the gentle breeze.

No bliss that could ever crop,
On the Earth or in sky,
Seems enough to put a stop,
To the tears that i cry.

And now the night slowly creeps,
And the world lay sleeping.
I lie on my bed pretending to dream,
While i'm awake weeping.
