this is a short poem in the eyes of a person caught in a fire and rushed to the hospital
Down on the ground

smoke in the air

should i run?

do i dare?

filling my lungs

clouding my sight

which way is left

which way is right

dying

gasping

grasping

for something

so out of reach

dying

gasping

grasping

trying to survive

this breach

But then it comes

the light so bright

is it real

is it right?

the beeping

the yelling

your voice so near

your voice so near i hear

where to go?

where to turn?

too late

too late

now i burn
