My bones have been broken from riding the bulls.

Rodeo Rider

Never again will I ride the mean rodeo bull.
Most bones have been broken I'd be a fool.
My body is weaker now since its grown old.
I can't take anymore breaks I've been told.

So I'm hanging up all the tools of my trade.
Relax in a rocking chair just like an old maid.
I will watch the fools ride the bulls everyday.
I sure hope their bodies don't have to pay.

Yes yesterday I liked riding the meanest ride.
No matter how mean or bad, or even his size.
Bulls are getting younger, and I'm growing old.
So I'll take some advice and do what I am told.

I know if I don't give it up I will pay the price.
I'm not a fool to think continuing would be nice.
So let me walk away while I am still able too.
Retire from the rodeo before I'm broken into.
