Sleep, keep sleeping; you won't wake up.
Sleep, Children, Sleep

Sleep, children, sleep
Travel into dreamland
And go down deep

Rest peacefully, rest with ease
Don't worry about that noise
It is only the trees

Sleep, children, sleep
Don't open your eyes
For I have told you
Nothing but lies.

Please, children, quietly lay
Stay completely silent
And dismiss that sway.

Sleep, children, sleep
Think and dream of all you want to be
For that noise you've been hearing
Was actually me.

All of your future days
Full of glee
Will not arrive
Because of me.

Sleep, children, sleep
It is almost done
It's too late now
You cannot run.

Do not worry, do not fret
There is no reason to be upset
For I am taking you to a place
Of no bad endeavor
There you will rest peacefully
Forever and ever.

Sleep, children, sleep...
