Bus
Trip
Always the same journey
Always the same stop.
22 to the East End.
Get off,
wait for a 34 or 19
to knock a few minutes
off my journey.
Maybe have a cigarette
look in the Waterstone's window
while the tourist shops
torture me
with the same old
cheerful Bagpipe song.
