This is what happens when a batter is up to bat.
The batter walks calmly up to the box,
hoping that she gets walked.
The pitcher approaches the mound,
digging her foot into the ground.

The pitcher grunts as she throws the ball,
hoping that the batter will fall.
Swinging with all her might,
praying that she will be alright.

The pitcher pitches a rise,
much to the batter's surprise.
The umpire yells strike one,
Knowing that she cannot run.

The pitcher throws a drop,
hoping the batter will flop.
The umpire yells strike two,
and the batter hits the bat to her shoe.

The pitcher throws a fast ball,
praying that the batter will fall.
Then the umpire calls "YOUR OUT!"
The pitcher yells that's the count.

The game ended there,
With the fans saying "That was fair".
