a poem about a broken heart
Tell me what will you do?
When the day and the night feels the same to you
Will you cry in your bed?
Or scream at the wall instead?
And, every smile that you paste on your face
Will run away in a second, without a trace,
Then you will curse your self
Slam your fist the against the wall
Maybe tell yourself it had been pride
That had come before your fall.
When it’s dark in the night
You won’t feel quite right
And your poor little broken heart
Will be torn apart
But you won’t cry
Won’t think why
Because the sorry thing knows how to break itself and then repair,
Maybe just a little so at least you can get in some air,
If every second of your day,
Felt like hope’s dying ray
Then tell me will you cry out your eyes
Or maybe just live with comforting  lies.
