When I lived with my wife and six daughters, I suffered more than they did!
I've lived with this malaise for decades, no, I don't wear a skirt, I'm a bloke,
It's a once a month scourge for a woman, but for me it's a permanent yoke.

You see I've a wife and six daughters, and for them it's just every four weeks,
but me like a lamb to the slaughter, it' a base line, without troughs or peaks.

Now don't get me wrong, I love women no matter how young or how old,
I just wished they'd stay in the same frame of mind, and bloody well do as they're told.

Moods fluctuate as hormones variate and sometimes they're really quite stinking,
They'd drive a quaker to fight, me into flight, and a methodist to take up hard drinking.

There's no reason you see, no order for me, just minds that are constantly bloody,
you don't say what you should, or you say what you shouldn't, the logic is totally muddy.

My daughters have married and all fled the nest, my wife, well it's that time of life,
when they go through the change, and their moods do not range, the end of trouble and strife?

Peace at last you may ask? oh don't be so daft,it's women we're discussing here,
HRT's now the fashion, and my wife gets her ration, so once a month I'm still steering clear!
