a dialogue :)
What are you fretting about?
You'll fret yourself to death!
Can't you find solace in something?
You are a rebel without a cause?
That's the way it is.
So, hush little baby
And don't mope about
In the house all day.

If you find yourself,
You'll be happy one day.
Don't give yourself to sorrow
What a plight to be in
Come and see me tomorrow -
Let the new life begin
Don't blunder again
You must choose your aim,
But don't choose pleasure -
It's too easy and dull.
I'll find a friend on Friday
We'll indulge in vermouth
I want to forget
To escape for good
Then we'll meet at the end
Of this grave neighbourhood
Don't profane your soul
And put the fire away
You blame yourself, don't you?
Who's the one to know?

Now kiss me goodbye -
We are going to part
Never again never
Do you hear me?
I'm crazy but I can't help it...
When the moment arrives,
There will be nothing left here.
Your zeal debilitates me,
I'm too wicked.

So get away, my friend,
I bear you no grudge,
But I shall go on on my own.
