A tale from a Schizophrenic's point of view
Constant whispers in the night
Something just doesn’t seem right
Some are laughing, some are crying
Is this a sign that I am dying?
They all start to venture my way
Will I ne’er see the light of day?
Each face deformed and stained with blood
Oh dear God, this can’t be good
One of them holds a knife to me
I shriek and scream, “Please leave me be!”
My parents come and stare in fear
At me screaming at nothing and say, “Nothing is here.”
But something is here! I know it’s true!
They ask me, “What is wrong with you?”
“Nothing is wrong! I’m perfectly sane!”
I say as Schizophrenia laughs in my brain
