Based on the years of hard work I, myself have endured through training.
When the smoke clears,
And my Dreams fade out,
All I want to hear,
Is the arena shout.

Out of state,
And out of Mind,
I left myself,
Far behind.

Years of training,
No relent,
For in the midst of a fight,
The damage is meant.

For it's about those seconds,
After the bell sounds,
When out in the center,
I get my Takedowns.

Then I get back up,
So as not to get beat,
And pay attention,
To the movement of feet.

Block the jabs,
And guard my chest,
For if I do,
I'll be one of the best.

If I give it my best,
And give it my all,
Sooner or later,
My opponent will fall.

So I try to submit,
And win by Tapout,
And hopefully end,
The Championship Bout.

This moment has been coming,
I've known it for a while,
And when it's all over,
I'll stand there and smile.

I might get hurt,
But I'll be fine,
Because that moment right there,
Will be MY TIME TO SHINE
