Life is as fleeting as the seasons. Reviews welcome.
She's the heat in a summer day
Blazing with emotions,
Smiles as brilliant as the sunshine itself
She's the rainbow in the flowers
The sweetness in the breeze
With a laugh like birds singing

She's the radiance of autumn
Shining with the color of the trees
Her grins outshining every hue
She's the swirling of leaves
Dancing and spinning around with no end
With the promise life starts again

She's the flurry in a winter blizzard
Unpredictable as a snowflake
But more unique in every way
She is the crispness of a new day
Saying each day will be different from the others
And promising to keep it that way always

But then comes spring.
Her hands so cold
Her skin so yellow
Her eyes forever unseeing

I thought spring brought new life
Not young death
