Frightened by a Cliche'

Black steal bars appear in my rear-view.
Redlightbluelight and
the classic twotone indicating copcar said
WATCH OUT! I'm here.
Questions swilled about me
         Lights all working?
         Plates up-to-date?
         Why me and not the speeder?
         Why not the stoner
         with one brake light?
Miles and turns we're undivided
Until sweet savior, draws his gaze and I realize
I was frightend ba a cliche'
