A satirical poem on a new novel
I'm writing a novel.
There are no numbered pages in this story.
If you drop the pages and they fall they fall
in some random order. The characters also fall
fall from grace fall off cliffs fall for each other.

There is great suspense. The kind that Hitchcock would like
the going into the belfry or the Mount Rushmore scene but
lots of nature like National Geographic in Africa. Weird music
from the Third Man would play when you opened the book. There
will be many clowns and acrobatic jumps of language in ancient tongues.

The ending would be very cool. Ending abruptly it would start again
according to the blood pressure of who ever was reading it. The vital
signs of the reader would determine the font and color of the pages.
If I could design an epic poem in the middle it would turn into a
Haiku if one flipped the pages quickly. The jacket would be a mobius strip
like an Escher painting.

The author would be continuously in disguise. The publisher would be out of town.
The editor if not committing suicide would at least be on the verge.
The New York Times would declare it suspicious. Many potential readers would make
a run on their local bookstores. Others would boycott carrying empty signs.
I can't wait to sign autographs. The poor reader would be so bored he would sell
all his remaining books. Page1.
