A poem expressing my extreme boredom.

Here I am
Sitting at the computer,
As bored as can be,
But with no way out.

"There's nothing to do,"
I complain silently.
Nobody listens,
Of course.

I wander the Internet,
But there's nothing to find.
I close it all down,
Then open up Word.

It's not my computer,
I'm just using it, for now.
The keyboard is strange.
How can I type?

Still, I stare at the page,
Willing something to come,
It only stays blank,
For half a moment longer.

But then the deed is done,
The story is written,
The boredom returns,
Its value increased.

I glance at the time.
Has five minutes only passed?
"It would appear so,"
I murmured gloomily.

An hour isn't long,
But when there's nothing to do,
It seems to take forever,
And never seems to end.

So here I am again,
Sitting around bored,
'Cause there's nothing to do,
But stare at the screen!
