Just a quick poem I wrote for my Creative Writing class.
The silent darkness rolling in,

Hazing my view of yellow lines.

Raindrops reflecting against the glass,

Swished away by whipping lines.

A blinding gaze shown through the darkness,

Reflecting off the blue-ish white.

The screaming of tires,

Metal crunching against concrete.

A door creaking open,

Sunlight beaming against my skin,

Fresh air filling my nostrils,

And the chirping of birds filling the silence the darkness had left.
