when you remember that you have been out of work for longer than you wish
You cannot sit down and tell me
I did NOTHING
What could I do when I was backhanded
When my annual review swore me out
written by the fire crotch manager who wanted me out
shit is crazy they say
nothing is crazier than when you're on an island without a job
so I sailed away
because their ignorance was really beginning to grate my nerves
on to the next island
the land of naysayers
one blonde recruiter tried to tell me she didn't have my time
or time for me...something like that
biatch
freaking loser, she was probably jealous
except I DIDN'T HAVE A JOB
but I TRIED
I woke up in the morning (sometimes afternoons)
and tried to keep score of advertising news
that shit bored the hell out of me
so I went out on "interviews" (no one cared)
they were all beginning to get on my nerves
moved stateside
to take a break
shit is crazy they say
but there's nothing crazier than being jobless in a new country
spending money you got from your mom
I was very hopeful
even devised a plan
I'll let you know when it unfolds
