A small poem about stars, need revision.
STARS
Illuminating the darkened sky,
Across the kingdom of the sun.
Light and dark blend.
It never seems to end.
Unseeing beings of glistening material,
Unthinking minerals of fire.
The beauty withstanding the power,
Making my heart beat a hundred miles per hour.
Wisps of glowing light descend,
With the radiance the moon lends.
As it touches the golden earth,
We can all see its worth.
Dazzling features up so high,
With barely a cloud floating by.
Near and far,
So close you can almost touch.
Reaching out into the sky,
There! A shooting one goes by.
