Is the brain beautiful? Reacting to mundanity with anything but.
First, an explosion of sparks,

Electricity dances through this vast array.

Synapses split and fuse like branches of the greatest tree, swaying and changing,

Blown about playfully or helplessly by the gusts of life.

As it zaps around on it's journey, a bud erupts into bloom

Remembering the exciting touch of sensations and information.

But then the wail of a car horn shatters this euphoric cascade,

And all this in an instant, a single second,

Prompted by the question "Would you like fries with that?"
