Summer Love, falling in love, being togeather, having to say goodbye.
                                                          Hot Horses

I remember those hot nights in Texas, and the moonlight on your hair

I remember racing down to the Rio Grand, betting who'd be first to get there

I remember taking a dip in the shallows, where the willows shade the shore

I remember kissing your cool sweet lips, who could ever ask for more.

And I remember hot horses, and I remember warm bodies

And the feel of cool water, and me loving you

Yes I remember hot horses, and I remember warm bodies

And the feel of cool water, and dreams coming true.

Now that summer was over too quickly, we were headed for home and school

As we said our goodbyes with tears in our eye's, I tried not to look like a fool

Well you set off to be a Doctor, so all the little children could ride

And I set out to be a writer, so I could make people feel good inside.

Now I often dream of that summer, and of you,  I never lost the taste

And sometimes at night when the feelings just right.

Baby I still see your face.

And I remember Hot horses, and I remember warm bodies

And the feel of cool water, and me loving you

Yes I remember hot horses, and I remember warm bodies

And the feel of cool water, and dreams coming true.

And dreams coming true.
