A poem about how important it is to avoid drinking alcohol and using substances.
Don't wanna be told
How squalid you get

Don't wanna be showed
Whether you're too bad

Never get enough
Of the taste that makes you cry

Never get enough
Of the smell that makes you die

To drink your pain
Restin' on the sidewalk
By the church
You used to go to

To slowly inhale
The worries of darkness
Relieve of a curse
'Cause you're no fool

To be in a heaven of darkness
With one hell of red wine
Sittin' in a smokey basement
With walls of sapphire

Drink me
Kiss me
Call me your friend
