Just a scrap of garbage that I wrote to accompany a photo of a closed train station.
Ghosts are in the shadows, waiting at the station,
They wait patiently for a train that never comes.
Reminiscing better days when the tracks lead somewhere special
They drift through the empty rooms, that are the shell of their existance.
This ...station, this life, this line is at an end
These rusted broken rails were always leading to nowhere
But still, the ghosts wait, for the train that never comes.
